The work party

The annual work drinks – dad dancing, secret Santa and someone smooching the post boy under the mistletoe (eek). You never know what might unfold, but you do know you’ll look fantastic. Embrace the festivities and don a shimmy-shimmy sequin top that will complement your black skinny jeans/trousers and will work whatever your size or shape. This look is cool, festive and fancy without being OTT (there’s nothing worse than feeling like you’ve overdressed). For more sparkle inspo, don’t miss our sequin special with Hayley Hasselhoff right here.

The night before Christmas...

Christmas Eve – you've been planning for months, the shopping, the wrapping and food prep are done, and you're ready. Phew! If you’re not fixing Rudolph’s midnight snack with the kids (all in brand-new PJs, of course), you might be popping out a drink/cosy dinner with your nearest and dearest. We’re obsessed with this classic playsuit, which is absolutely striking with these (practical) OTK boots. Whatever happens, don’t let it all go to your head and overdo things before the main event (we’ve all been there – not clever).

Santa has been!

Once the wrapping remnants have been tossed into the recycling bin, it’s time to dress. Leave bed-headed kids mesmerised by their new toys and get spruced. Not only is red the hottest hue for winter, but it’s also unbelievably festive. Give Mrs Claus a run for her money in these smoking-hot patent boots, go cute and considered in a tiered minidress, or choose chic and sophisticated in a fluted-sleeve knit. You’ll feel so good in all of these outfits, you’ll be pulling them out time and time again – right up to spring.

The day after...

You’re full to the brim and potentially a little bit jaded, and you're yearning for snuggly clothes that still tick the style boxes. Cue the season’s unexpected hero – the cardigan. It’s gone from being a little bit granny to the coolest cover-up about. Yes, really. Make sure yours is bold, bright and brilliant – just like this. For the Boxing Day stroll, team it with a cool T-shirt, stretch jeans and trainers, and finish with some statement earrings, because yes, you’re unwinding, but it’s still Christmas and you, my dear, are fabulous.

Seeing it out in style

New Year’s Eve is highly anticipated – whether you’re planning a house party, dinner at home or a glam night out, it’s the perfect excuse to go all-out in the outfit department. Pick your favourite trend from the season – a look you’ve been keen to try but either a) haven’t been brave enough for or b) haven’t had the right event for yet. Whether it’s all-over sequins, a daringly low lace jumpsuit, a shoulder-baring minidress, a white blazer or subtle sheer layers and star prints, GO FOR IT. Go on. Have a good try on, find what you feel brilliant in, then dance until dawn.
